Dae Romero will be joining the Department of Communication Studies at New Mexico State University this Fall 2023 as our new Basic Course Director for COMM 1115G: Introduction to Communication. Prof. Romero's research interests focus on identity and intersectionality in communication. They will teach courses in Human Communication and Advanced Public Speaking. |

Dr. Shi will be joining the Department of Communication Studies at New Mexico State University this Fall 2022 semester. Dr. Shi's research focuses include corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate social advocacy (CSA) in social media to examine companies’ strategic communication of their involvement in issues of public concern. Dr. Gabriela Morales will be joining the Department of Communication Studies at New Mexico State University this Fall 2020 semester. Dr. Morales’ research focuses on addressing health disparities and social determinants of health, intersection of culture and health, underrepresented narratives, and health promotion.
