The Department of Communication Studies is located on New Mexico State University’s main campus in Las Cruces, in southern New Mexico. Located about 50 miles north of El Paso, Texas, and its neighbor, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Las Cruces is a vibrant, multicultural community surrounded by beautiful skies, sun, and natural scenery, all year round. Known as the City of the Crosses, Las Cruces is the second-largest city in New Mexico.
