Grad Highlight Hannah Martinez

As a standout student in our Graduate program, Hannah demonstrated exceptional commitment to her academic pursuits while also serving as our Department Social Media Manager. She completed her Master's Project using Social Marketing Theory, raising over $1500 and arranging 300 children's book donations for the local nonprofit Jardin de los Niños. After graduation, she will start as a Communication Liason in Digital Marketing for the San Antonio Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.
"My advice for Graduates: Don't be so hard on yourself, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos of school, but remember to appreciate how far you've come and how far you're going!"
Congrats Hannah, we look forward to seeing your future success!

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Fallon Murphy, a remarkable graduate who has left an indelible mark on our Communication Department. During her graduate years, she served as the President of the Communication Studies Graduate Student Association, worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the department, served as a graduate assistant for the university’s HSI STEM Resource Hub, and worked for a local health organization that provides early intervention services to families throughout New Mexico.
In her undergrad, she was a proud member of ASNMSU, the Black Student Association, and the NMSU Rotaract Club, sitting on both the Student Advocacy Board and Continuing Diversity Board. Recently, she accepted a position at the University of Arizona as a Communications Specialist for the University's Analytics & Institutional Research Department.

"I am especially thankful for the 6 years I spent with the Communication Studies Department at NMSU and am grateful for all the connections I made with fellow students and faculty! Go Aggies!"
Congrats Fallon, we are so proud of you!
